About the University
Why Nobel?
Nobel Medical College, established in 2004, is a premier private medical institution located in Biratnagar, eastern Nepal. Affiliated with Kathmandu University, it serves as a major academic hub and healthcare provider for both Nepal and the adjoining Indian state of Bihar.
The MBBS program is fully taught in English and strictly adheres to the standards of the Medical Education Commission (MEC) Nepal, the National Medical Commission (NMC) of India, and the WHO. This gives Indian students a significant advantage for licensing exam as the curriculum and disease patterns are virtually identical to India's.
The college is supported by the massive Nobel Medical College Teaching Hospital (NMCTH), which features over 1,050 beds and provides students with immediate, high-volume, and diverse clinical exposure starting from their clinical phases.
